Pyhäsalmi Mine is located in the town of Pyhäjärvi in central Finland.
Pyhäsalmi is a base metal mine primarily producing copper, zinc, and pyrite. It has both open-pit and underground mining operations, though the open-pit operations ceased in 2001, transitioning to underground mining. The underground mine reaches a depth of approximately 1,400 meters, making it one of the deepest in Europe.
